Tsurara, red like a hibiscus and angrier than a bull, stormed through the forest. She slashed things in her path with a dagger, despite the fact her vision was limited. She didn’t want to head back home though and so she moved forward. When she saw nothing but blackness ahead of her, she stopped and looked around to see if she could find something to rest on. She walked slowly to the left, only to fall on a large but smooth stone. It was just the size to caress her body. She crawled onto the stone and curled up nearly into a ball to keep herself warm. Then she fell asleep, not considering of the dangers that may lie ahead.

Early the Following Morning

Tsurara was rudely awoken by morning insects, more specifically fruit flies. One of them tried to crawl in her ear and a few others went up her nose or in her mouth. She winded up swatting them away and coughing, sneezing, and shaking off fruit flies that happened to go inside her.

“Stupid pests.” She said once they were all gone. She looked ahead of her, ready to continue the pursuit of the fallen Tsunami Horn.

She followed the trail of destruction the Tsunami Horn left behind from its great fall. Trees were knocked down, boulders were shattered, and a large trail in the ground that was 4.5 feet deep was left behind. Tsurara noticed there were blotches of gold left scattered about on trees and boulders and soon stumbled across a puddle in the ground. She bent down to get a closer look at it but didn’t dare touch it.

“Must be urine. Poor thing.” She said to herself.

After examining the puddle, she looked ahead, only to see part of a wing. A very large wing. A boulder was blocking the rest of the view. She jumped towards it and hid behind it. Slowly but surely, she looked from behind the boulder, only to see a massive dark colored body. She gasped and hid behind the boulder again.

“It’s bigger than I imagined.” She whispered. She had her eyes widened from panic.

Tsurara knew what she was dealing with: A highly dangerous creature. But she knew she had to help it or else it would die, killing off the Tsunami Horn race. With a deep breath, she stepped from behind the boulder and approached the Tsunami Horn.

The Tsunami Horn looked unconscious. It had the golden fluid from before dripping down its chest and its wing membranes were riddled with holes and tears. She breathed hard when she got a glimpse of where the spear her father threw went: Right through the wings. She tip-toed to the Tsunami Horn and had to jump up to grab and pull out the spear. She stared at it and threw it to the ground and began to take leaves from various trees.

The Tsunami Horn’s eyes shot open as it heard Tsurara grunt to reach a leaf that was too far for her to reach. It couldn’t move; not without feeling immense pain. It looked around and only saw the ground and the bark of a few trees. Then, at one point, saw Tsurara running, though it didn’t know where. Its ears twitched from the fact it couldn’t see what she was doing.

Tsurara was still grabbing various leaves and eventually began to collect water and a stone. She put the leaves and the water in a wooden container that she had with her and mushed it all up with the stone, making it look like green muck. She finally looked at the Tsunami Horn, still unaware that it was awake, and re-approached it with the muck. She began to rub it on its wings.

The Tsunami Horn growled. It’s growl was deep and menacing, though it didn’t stop Tsurara from applying the muck. Once it realized the growl didn’t work, it took all its strength to leap up and pin Tsurara down. Tsurara screamed and avoided eye contact with the Tsunami Horn, knowing that if she didn’t, it’d strike her.

The Tsunami Horn, angry that it was attacked, roared at Tsurara. But it didn’t do anything else. It couldn’t move from that point, plopping onto Tsurara like she was a pillow or bed.

“Ow!” Tsurara yelped.

The Tsunami Horn snorted and didn’t budge off of Tsurara. It merely closed its eyes and resumed resting, much to Tsurara’s dismay. Tsurara attempted to push the Tsunami Horn off but with no success. She sighed.

“Looks like I’m gonna be stuck here for awhile.” She said.

The Tsunami Horn growled lowly in its sleep. Tsurara rolled her eyes.

“You’re using me as a bed, stop your growling already.”
Beast and the Warrior Chapter/Scene 2: Search of the Fallen Tsunami Horn

I haven't worked on this story in forever...well, this part of it anyways. I've been working on other parts in my little journal, which will be revealed in the future.
